The administration of VMSG relies on a group of highly qualified individuals, each with extensive training and experience in the veterinary medical field.

Greg Stoutenburgh, Hospital Director

Greg Stoutenburgh is a veterinary practice consultant who has worked in various capacities with veterinary facilities across the United States, especially in Southern California. Greg worked his way through his Bachelor's degree in Biology as a veterinary technician, and through his Master's program as a hospital manager. Greg now lives in Aliso Viejo, California and is married with two kids.

Leah Basinais, Hospital Manager

Leah Basinais' career in veterinary hospital management has spanned the last ten years. During that time, Leah completed a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in Boston, as well as a highly competitive internship at Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center in Tumor Genetics. Leah completed her MBA with a specialization in Health Care Management in 2003.

She currently lives in Westlake, California with her husband of nine years, her four-pound 'monster' Pomeranian mix, Gimmish, and her overweight orange tabby, Clifford.

Richard Guyette, Hospital Manager

Richard Guyette moved to the field of veterinary management in 2001. Prior to that, he had over eight years of management experience in a high service field. Richard's recent career change to veterinary medicine brings a new perspective to the service offerings at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group. He currently lives in Camarillo, California and hopes to adopt a dog in the near future.
