Dr. Daniel Frem

Dr. Daniel Frem graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB and BS in engineering and a Masters of Engineering Management. He spent several years in Detroit as an engineer and business analyst for Ford Motor Company before moving to Massachusetts to help manage the family business – a public golf course and banquet facility. Dr. Frem went back to school to follow his love of animals and graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University before joining VMSG.

Dr. Frem lives with his dog, Jini, an athletic but lazy Rhodesian Ridgeback. In his free time, Dr. Frem enjoys hiking with his dog, rock climbing, cycling, and playing golf. He is looking to pursue a residency in Small Animal Surgery after his internship at VMSG. He would like to eventually work at a small animal referral practice or academic institution that provides opportunities to mentor future veterinarians.
